Christian Dior
Christian Dior Collection 2001 "Trailer Trash" by John Galliano the Cadillac bag.
For his 2001 Spring/Summer Collection, Galliano ripped Dior apart. He reinterpreted many of the classic Dior bags with this collection, the Dior Saddle bag turns to an iconic car.
Inspiration was his ’69 Cadillac, incorporating a “number plate” and reflector lights to the bags.
The number plate references Christian Dior - 1947 is the year that he showed his first collection, and Avenue Montaigne is the street Christian Dior is located in Paris.
